When sending email message-sometimes received twice - why?

Sometimes when I send out email messages - the person on the receiving end
receives my message twice. The IT dept has checked all of my settings and
they look okay. Since this does not happen all the time -- they are stumped.

Can be caused by the recipients anti virus application, if its intergrated
with their OL
