where is an edited and saved Publisher email attachment filed?

I was sent a publisher file by email (Outlook) and then edited it further. i
then saved it but cannot now find the saved file in spite of assiduous
searching. where can i find it?

I assume you didn't change the directory for the saved file otherwise you'd
be able to find it. It's now a temp file. You may or may not be able to
locate it.
