Which is the best address book to use?

Calum

Hi
I want to use one and only one address/contact book, could someone advise me
which is the best one to use, or which do most people use.

I have outlook express installed
I have windows xp installed
I have office 2003 installed.

It seems from the posts on this forum that the three are actually
independant of each other, therefore I would like to know which one people
say is the best to use.

Since this is the Office newsgroup, and Outlook is in Office "we" use
the Outlook one! If the WAB suits your purposes and you want to use it
instead, it is your choice.

Its not so much as 'which is best address book' as what you wish to record
on it and how you wish to interact with other Office apps. eg Outlook, not
Outlook Express, is more than just an email/contacts app.

The contacts folder in Outlook is the best for the most variety of
functions. You can start mail merges from the contact in Outlook, track
activities, sort by categories for distribution lists, use them to put
birthdays/anniversaries into your calendar, etc.

Far more powerful than the limited .wab file that Windows and Outlook
Express use.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Calum asked:
