why does this happen

I show a paperclip on every email i send, even when I am
not sending an attachment. Also, when I do send an
attachment, it shows up in the memo part of the email
and not at the bottom with an icon attachment to click
on. How can I fix these problems? Thanks

Don't send Rich Text mesages. Use Plain Text or HTML.

That could be due to the way you are sending mail. Check, Options and the mail
format tab. Sending mail in Rich Text or plain text might be the problem...

for the attachment issue, change your e-mail editor to
html, go to tools, options, mail format and select html as
your messege format.
