why does word ask me to save palmapp.dot on close

New install of Office 2003. Every time when exiting the program a prompt
asks if I want to save changes to palmapp.dot - I have no clue as to what it
is or what changes it is saving. Any info much appriciated

You have installed software to enable integration with Word and a Palm
device. This places an add-in palmapp.dot in the Word startup folder. Locate
that file and move it somewhere else such as a temporary sub folder of the
Word startup called (say) 'Unused addins'
