I haven't used 2000 to create a web page, I only know when I create one in 2003
the font directory is reduced to eleven. Mind you, I've never actually published
a Publisher web site since Publisher 98. I believe Publisher web creation
defaults to the fonts that are included in the Explorer.

Does Pub allow you to actually publish to the web fonts that are not
websafe?
I would think it would down level them to gifs or convert to websafe fonts.

| Using Publisher 2000 and counted 142 fonts available when editing my
| webpage.
|
| Another mystery.

Good test, thanks...good to know. Although, I don't use Pub for webs :)

| Epilog:
|
| While all the fonts I tested show up on my computer, they may not show up
on
| other folks' computers. The fonts need to be installed on all computers
| viewing the page with the exotic fonts. I did a test and removed a font
or
| two from the Windows Font folder (uninstalled with HP's Font Smart) and
| these fonts defaulted to Times New Roman on the webpage display.
|
| So it seems it is best to stick with some basic fonts that are generally
| compatible with webpage design.

I was having the same problem. I fixed it by lowering the settings of the
screen resolution in display settings.
