why don't the copy and paste functions work?

Hi,

For some reason the copy and paste functions do not work in
Office/Outlook 2003 this morning. They were working when I shut my computer
off last night however when I started up this morning they aren't working.

I have tried usint ctrl-c and ctrl-v as well as the edit-copy edit-paste
options to try to copy things from and Outlook email to Word, Outlook email
to IE, IE to Word, from one Word doc to another, from one Word doc into the
same Word doc... Nothing works.

any ideas?
