Windows crashed while working w/ Project 2003

While working with Project server 2003 based file (on Project Professional
2003), my computer crashed. Upon rebooting I can no longer open the file
from the server to ready/write (I get an error message that I have the file
open in another session and need to close it).

Does this sound familiar? Can someone help?
