On my home PC I just changed the password for the initial windows logon. I
know the password but unfortunately I cannot remember the User Name - I've
tried everything I can think of. Is there anyway I can by pass this logon to
get back into my computer.

No. You'll have to create a new user account.

Boot into "Safe Mode" and create a new user account.

You do talk some crap Carey - how the HELL you got to be an MVP I shall
NEVER know.
If the OP can't log on, how can they create a new account? If the OP can log
on as The Administrator then the OP can SEE what the Username is and doesn't
NEED to create a new account.

Sheeeesh.
