My friend reported a problem with a table. She created it
using Word 2000, WinME on a Dell Laptop.
I transferred her table to my computer (using Word XP,
WinME on a Gateway desktop).
She had problems with page breaks and page overflows.
I fixed the document in my computer (Word XP). I displayed
and it was fine, I printed it and it was fine.
I transferred the fixed document to her computer (Word
2000)using a floppy.
Now, using her computer, the fixed document is back
displaying it wrong and printing it wrong.
The problem: when the first page ends, the display (and
printer) goes all the way to the edge of the screen page,
then from page 2 on just do not appear. There was a page
break after several pages and that appears at the
beginning of a displayed page and it prints on a separate
page.
I do not have such problems when I use that document in my
Word XP computer.
Can you help to solve this mistery? I will appreciate it.
