Word 2003 bug?

O

Ola

Hi,

I don´t know if this is the proper forum for this
question but I take a chance. I´ve installed Office 2003
and using Word strange things happen. If I try to put a
bmp image as header of a document it is printed the wrong
way around as a mirror display. There is nothing wrong
with the printer I´ve checked it and also used different
printers. Is this a bug in winword.exe? How can it be
fixed?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ola,

I don't know a lot about this kind of thing; you might find
someone better versed in the technology part of it in the
word.drawing group (or maybe not), but...

Starting with Word 2002, they've incorporated something
called GDI+, and that can cause problems with graphics
rendering, sometimes. The usual suggestion is to update the
drivers.

There should be a couple of Knowledge Base articles around
on this problem, but I can't turn them up, today...
