Word 2003 not saving changes

Word 2003 is not saving changes unless I save it as a different fil
name. Also when you look at print preview the changes are not there.
Even though you can see the changes in the document.

Any help is appreciated.

Please help Windows XP system with 512mb ram, SP2 Latest Offic
Updates are installed
