Word 97-How to open file that requires password

I have created a word file that I can't open because it
is asking for a password. I have saved 100's of docs and
this is the only time this has ever happened. How do I
get around this to open the file as I desparately need to
get at the file and have NO idea what the password may be?
Please help--
