Word Issue

We are using Office 2003 on a Windows XP Dell Workstation



Here's he problem - In Word when we go to FILE and OPEN the default fields
in (details view) are NAME, TYPE, SIZE and DATE MODIFIED. We like to have
just NAME and COMMENTS, but the settings reset once the computer is
restarted. Is there a way to get these settings to stick?

Hi Mario,

I didn't have a problem with getting these to
stick in Word. If it's a corporate setup your
user profile may not have the access to write the
changes to the registry or your administrator may
have set policies that set the program back to selected
defaults when it's started.
