Word not responding - Reg Edit no help

Hi,

I too am having problems with Word 2003 after the security update KB908531.
I followed the instructions in Article 918165, but it did not help me. I had
no choice but to uninstall the update. I have turned off automatic updates,
but I am not comfortable leaving it off. Any suggestions on how to deal with
this problem would be greatly appreciated.
