Word opens same document

Hi,

When I open word it says it has recovered a document and
there the document is.. but now it just won't go away..
everytime I open up word 2000.. it has that same document
over and over. And If I choose NEW DOCUMENT.. it still is
that same document1.. so I can't make new documents or
anything. I EVEN uninstalled word 2000 and it still came
back up with this same document! Any ideas of how to get
rid of it. Thanks so much!
