Word-Outlook Auto text: loosing e-mail signatures

fyzxman

At work I am forced to use MS software anyway, I use Word 2000 as my e-mail editor with Outlook 2000. Often I loose my e-mail signatures. What is the cause of this? How do I prevent it and how do I fix it?

Is this only on new mail or on replies and forwards? Do you have a
signature defined under the Auto-Text entries? What happens when you try to
use Insert->Autotext and select your signature? Does the signature appear
in the auto-text entries list?

If I try to use Insert, AutoText, and select e-mail signatures I find that e-mail signatures is not in the menu list. My e-mail signatures are not there! Even if I had to wait an hour for the drop down menu to expand it would not be there. So it is not a simple solution or an issue of me not knowing how to insert an e-mail signature. As I stated before I am loosing my e-mail signatures! I have used e-mail signatures in Outlook-Word 2000 for over a year. Many many many times I have had to recreate the e-mail signatures. And I am not lying or exaggerating I use five or more e-mail signatures, so each time I loose them I have to recreate them which means that I have wasted time due to this problem. Shows how productive the software really is. The excreta tools of the hegemonic league of bootlickers are inoperable. In a way it is a peonage impinged a priori via furor from manipulating monopoly of Visigoth virtue. Anyone ready for a stab at it

You know, I come to these forums to attempt to assist people... I go to a
comedy club when I need a good laugh. I may have to reconsider that and
just listen to your rant instead.

Maybe he could purchase a book on how to use the apps, since he is "forced" to use Office and not waste time(as in a previous post). May be a tad bit more productive!
