Hi All,

In "Word" Is it possible to put split vertically? I know how to split
window horizontally & view 2 parts of the document.

Hi Vasanth

You can't quite get the same "split" behavior with a vertical bar, but
you can have two windows and tile them vertically. For versions up to
Word 2002, use the macros in
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/TileVertically.htm. If you
want both windows to show parts of the same document, use Window > New
Window to open the second window -- then any changes you make in one
pane will also appear in the other.

For Word 2003, first use Window > New Window and then use Window >
Compare Side by Side With... This not only tiles the windows
vertically, it also gives the ability to scroll both windows together.
