Some time ago, it was decided that we would move to MS Office and drop
using WordPerfect as the processor. However we have had some holdouts
converting WP to Word because of these issues:
-o- some have equation boxes
-o- mixed portrait/landscape formatting
I have found some 3rd-party apps that can cover a fair share of things
EXCEPT these issues. I have exercised WP12 to read and save-as but
the first 2 items still are not consistently done - or not done at
all. The WP files are of the WP 5.x/6.x era and have been maintained
with individually license copies of WP in order to keep them current.
Does anyone have suggestions on a product that might just do the
trick? It would be preferred if it has a demo/trial version so I can
work with it. I have had a funding amount stated to me by the
Director of IT, and I feel it's a workable one.
