Working on book problem

I have the step by step book and as I am going through it in Setting up
Resources it tells me to enter information in the Material Label Column, and
yet it seems block in some way. I cannot type anything in that box. Help???

You can only do so when the resource type is Material.

you first need to change the "type" to "Material"

The column says Material Label, and I didn't create this, the step by step
book did, I just don't know how to enter any information in it. I didn't
change any of the settings, but it won't allow me to type anything in it. I
don't know how else to explain this.

Hi

the column to the LEFT of the 'material label' in the default resource sheet
view is called "type" - before you can type in the material label column you
need to change the entry from 'work' to 'material' in the "type" column.
