wrong size printed to size selected

i am having problems with publisher in office 2003 for small business. when i
create a custom cover design, group the items selected and format them to the
size i require they are being printed larger by 4-5 mm

This is such a small amount, is it visible only on one margin? Are your margins set
within your printer's limitations? It could be your paper is not positioned correctly
against the printer guide, this can happen especially in an inkjet. Does this issue
appear in all your publications?
