First, I have MS OFfice Basic Edition 2003 that I purchased with my Dell
computer about 3 years ago. Can I install it on my new computer as well?

Second, when I get emails from one of my uncles, his attachments are never
there. He says it's me...something about plain text v html but the HTML
boxes are checked in all of my email settings. He is the only one I have
this issue with. Any suggestions???

Thanks!!!

1. It sounds like you have an OEM version (preinstalled by Dell). OEM
software lives (and dies) on that specific system. That's why it's less
expensive.

2. Are you sure your uncle is attaching the files correctly? Do you get
attachments from other folks?

(1) No because it is an OEM version that came with your computer
(2)Attachments will show if you are set to Plain Text. Uncheck the HTML

1-Ok.
2-I'm not sure how he is attaching them. He is the only one I have this
problem with.
Thank you.

1-It came with the computer but it was a custom option that I ordered. I
have the CDs for it. Does that matter?
2-He is the only one I have this problem with but I will try that.
