2003 Viewer

I've received some files that were created in Publisher 2003, but my version
2000 can't open it as it's not backwards compatible. Is there a viewer
available so that I can at least open and print them?

Thanks

Jim,

There is no view available for Publisher. Some people have been suggesting
ordering the trial version of 2003. After the time lapses, I've heard it
will still allow you to view files, you just can't do anything with them.

The only thing you can do right now is to ask the person who created the
files to save them as a Pub 2000 file or ask them to send you .pdf files.
The first option may cause problems if they've used a feature that was not
available in 2000. The second is my choice. If he/she doesn't have Acrobat,
there are some low-cost/free alternatives available.

Thank-you JoAnn for the info!
