97 crashes when attempting to copy data

I have an issue with an Excel 97 spreadsheet, where if I
try to copy any cell within the file either via the mouse
or keyboard, the file crashes with the following Acess
Violation.

Dr Watson for Windows NT
Access Violation (0x0000005),Address 0x30107369

As yet I have not been able to find a solution.

Help!
