Accessing Stored Text Files in Works 6.0

When I start Works 6.0 and want to copy an existing text
to a blank page in order to make a new text document, I
click "File" and then "Open," but my computer accesses by
default a different folder to serve as a text file
directory from the folder I would like it to pull up, and
into which I have recently downloaded many Works 4.5
files from another computer that I want to access
quickly. How do I change the default document folder
which serves as my directory of existing texts?
