Accessing Word 2003 VBA Help

G

Gary Hillerson

I'm using Word 2007 and doing VBA development in 2007, but I don't
like the help system as much and I'd like to access the old help
system (by opening the help file directly).

I've tried looking thru the Office folder in Program Files for the
Help system for the old VBA help, but I can't find it. There are a
bunch of CHM files in the Office 11/1033 folder, but not the main help
system, as far as I can tell.

Can anyone help?

You wouldn't find the Help files for version 12 in a folder for Office
11. And Office 11 help content won't be provided with an Office 12
installation.

Hi Cindy,

Thanks for your response.

So there's no way to find my way to 2003's VBA help other than opening
the VBE in 2003?? That's too bad. The 2007 help doesn't seem to have
the "related topics" feature that was so helpful.

Thanks again, and Happy New Year to you!
