Adding Resources to an existing task

How can I add a resource (people) and assign their time to an existing task
without the formulas updating and changing the time allocation for all the
other resources I've entered in the task already?

Hi,

Select the task, double-click, in Task Information, Advanced, check OUT
effort-driven.
