I have a list of tasks and time estimates for all of them....however we do
them out of order and I would like the end date of the project to recalculate
based on whats left for unfinished tasks....

is this possible?

deepice,
It sounds like you don't really have a schedule, just a list of tasks. I
assume they are all un-related. If so, then the project finish date will
be the finish date of the latest task. Is there something I'm missing?

Hello deepice
You are we doing the tasks out of order ? Strange project indeed...

Nevertheless, that's it's normal behavior : Project recalculate the finish
date of the project, based on what's left for unfinished tasks.
