After moving files, they have become read-only!

Can anyone help me? I have moved a folder with Office doc's in, and now my
users can not access them other than 'read-only'. It is driving them and me
mad! Any thoughts?

That would depend on where you moved them to and how. Suggest looking at
the permission/security in the new location. See Windows Help and
Support, Security for further information.
