Amount of emails being recieved

I just switched from Outlook Express to Outlook. With OLE as you are recieving your emails it tells you how many it's downloading. Is there a way to set Ol so that it does this. I like to see how many emails are being downloaded so I will know how long it's going to take. Thank you.
