If i att a pict in my word document, then send it over
internet, the picture comes as an attachment to my doc not
in the doc itself.
I want the picture in the doc.
How do I do that ??

Jan, you have to open the Word document and from within, Insert, Picture,
from file.

I do as follows.

1. open word (new document)
2. write text
3. insert a picture from file
4. more text
5. store
6. archive
7. send to e-mail user

when the e-mail user get the document, it is only text.
To see the picture he/she has to click on the paperclip.
The picture is not shown together with the text as I want.
Thank you for teh answer.

Hi Jan, steps 5 and 6 I have a question.
Your step 5: does STORE signify save?
Your step 6: what do you mean by archive?
Your step 7: what do you use to send?

Steps 1 to 4 look OK to me. If 5 means "save" that is OK also.
What software do you use to send the e-mail? It could be a setting issue in
that software.
Waiting for your reply.

Sounds like your document is being sent in html format, but your
recipient is somehow not able to view it in that format. You mention
having to click a paperclip to see the image; is the recipient trying
to view the document in his or her email client?

You might have better luck if you send the document itself as an
attachment (File menu - Send To - Mail Recipient (As Attachment)...),
then have the recipient open the attached document in Word.
