Attachments appear in message body

Brian

I am using outlook 2002 sp2.
When I attach a document (word, excel, picture or
whatever)it appears in the body of my text and not in the
attachment field. This just started a week ago and I
have no idea what caused it or how to fix it.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks

To change the format of your email:
Open TOOLS | OPTIONS... | MAIL FORMAT

If you use Rich Text Format (RTF) the attachment will
be inserted in the body of the message.

If you use PLAIN TEXT or HTML the attachment will be
inserted at the bottom of the message in the extra window.
