Automatically inserting a graphic

Can I automate inserting a picture or graphic in Word / could I use a macro?
I want to make inserting a picture of a signature easier, besides opening a
doc, then copying & pasting every time I want to use it.

You could certainly use a macro, although there might be a better way.

1. Which version of Word is this?

2. Is the signature ONLY available in another document, or is it saved somewhere
as a separate graphics file?

3. Have you considered creating an AutoText entry from the signature? Click on
it, then Insert/AutoText/New and give it a name. Make sure it's being saved in
the "Normal.dot" template.

Now go to Tools/Customize/Commands. Select the "AutoText" category. Look for the
entry you just created and drag it to a toolbar position you find convenient.
You should be able to insert it now by just clicking on the toolbar button.
