Autoshapes

I have been unsuccessful with a task involving an image
and autoshape callouts. I would like to printscreen an
image from an application, usually the search page of a
commercial database available on the Web. Once this
image is cropped and inserted into FrontPage 2002, I
would like to add callouts pointing to various places
within the image. It is important for the callouts to
remain in the exact location, adjacent to the image, no
matter which browser is used, because the text within
each callout gives specific instructions for particular
areas within the image. (Arrows of the callouts often
point to small boxes within an image.)
Since the task has been unsuccessful in FrontPage, I am
left with creating a Word .doc with image and callouts.
Then, the .doc is converted to .pdf and imported into the
Web server. Students have problems with .pdf files and
the preference is to create an html file.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Sandra

The Autoshapes feature only works properly with Internet
Explorer. As a result, most designers avoid it completely.

You should use a picture editor to insert whatever
circles, arrows, or balloons you want to appear "over" a
picture.
