printed. What to do now? Any help appreciated. Nothing

Hi Mike,

The graphics handling is different in Word 2000 and Word2002
in some respects from the switch to the GDI+ handler in 2002.

In Tools=>Options=>General=[Web Options] what resolution do
you have set for inserted graphics?

If you use Edit=>Paste Special and choose either Word Picture
or EMF do you get the same issue? Word has some antialiasing
built in, but not to the extent in pre 2000 versions.

You may also want to check for upgraded printer and graphics
card drivers. Word 'reads' both of these when working with
graphic content.

Hi there,

I am having the same problem with importing a logo into
word. Tried different file formats, resolutions, all to
no avail. There seems to be a fierce amount of
antialiasing, also images imported via copy/paste special
appear fine on-screen but have blurry pixelated edges
when printed.
I think this is a serious issue. Companies want to use
their logos and other graphics pertaining to their
corporate image with this software for their mailings and
printouts and need to look good on paper as well as on
screen.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best regards,

Anja

P.S.:What is the recommended resolution for placing
graphics into word???
