Can I change duration of tasks from days to weeks on a project%3f

I have been asked to change the duration from days to weeks to shorten the
print out Gantt view for the assigned resource people. Is there a way to
work w/MS Project in Weeks rather than days? If so, how do I do that?

Hi Lorraine ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Tools/Macro/Macros.../Format_Duration/Run. And/Or click the zoom out button
in the Standard Toolbar (looks like a magnifying glass with a minus sign).

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://www.mvps.org/project/

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Hi,

Just for ythe sake of precison, it is only possible to "WORK" with Project
in minutes, the only time unit it uses for calculation.
It is possible to SHOW time values in other units or evn ti ENTER time in a
differnt unit, a Mike explaine.
