Can I do this in word?

I have a picture I brought into word and made it a 1x1 square. Is it possible
in word to change the square to a circle 1x1

I am sure it can be done with a different program but I only has Word 2003.

Draw a one inch circle, fill, fill effects, picture tab, browse to your
picture.
