Can you import resource calendars from Outlook?

Hi,

I would like to begin using Microsoft Project to manage schedules for a
number of resources. All rersouces use Outlook 2000 extensibly to track all
their appointments, meetings and events. I need to add all these events into
Project quickly to begin managing the project during the resources available
free time.

Is there a way to import an Outlook Calendar into Project as a resource
calendar?

I appreciate any help you can give on this question.

Nope - you CAN import tasks from Outlook's task folders into Project as
entries in the task list if you're using Project 2002 but you can't import
the calendar itself so that previously scheduled appointments, etc, appear
as non-available time in the resource calendar. Maybe you should expect the
resources to schedule their meetings etc around the demands of the project's
tasks rather than scheduling the project around their appointments <grin>.
Work to get a buy-in from everyone that the project has a higher priority
than it sounds like they're giving it.
