Cannot access Inbox

Hi,

I's musing Outlook 2000. Every time I open Outlook I get
the following error message and my inbox won't display:

'Unable to display the folder. The file C:\WINDOWS\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\mailbox.pst is
in use and could not be accessed. Close any application
that is using this file, and then try again.'

I cannot access my inbox at all and no other application
is using the pst file. Any help would be appreciated.
