Just recently (today) I started having problems opening my excel spreadsheets
from every location (desktop, folders, etc.) unless I open them inside the
Excel program from the open menu. I am running Office 2007, Home and Student
Edition on my laptop operating Windows Vista. The message that I receive is
, "Windows cannot find....., make sure you typed the name correctly and try
again." I click the OK tab and Excel opens but does not open a workbook or
sheet. This doesn't happen when I open the requested sheets inside the
program. I haven't renamed anything or made any changes to my system in the
past few days. Can anyone advise me on how to fix this problem? Is this
something that others have experienced? Can I prevent this from happening
again?
Thanks,
John
