Cannot use copied "Contacts"

G

gary

I copied my Outlook pst file from one computer to my new
laptop in order to use my existing mail and contacts.
When using my laptop to generate a new message and click
on "To" I get the message that: "The address list could
not be displayed. The contacts folder associated with
this address list could not be opened; it may have been
moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions..." How
can I use the Outlook contacts from my PC on my laptop?

I assume that if you go to the Contacts folder you see all of your contacts
properly? If you right-click that Contacts folder is the "Show as address
book" box checked?
