can't open any publisher files

It's a recently installed publisher 2003 program, brand new.

I just tried to open the magazine I've been creating and it says it can't
find it. Then when I navigate it says 'publisher cannot open the file'.
Great, thanks, a really helpful message.

it's the same with all my other publisher files. What can I do? I can't
believe they've all corrupted at once.... and how can I stop this happening
again?

Did you activate Publisher? Help, Activate product.

Thanks mary, I just did that, it said 'prodcut already activated'.
Still can't open.

Do you use Norton Anti-virus software?
How to use Office programs with the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in

If not, disable any anti-virus software you many have and try again.

There are a couple of answers might help solve your problem.

What Program did you use to create these files and what is the
extension part of their name?
