Can't read queries in Access 2003

I am running Access 2003 SP3. I am new to the company and am trying to fix a
problem on a file that was created by the last guy here. The one person who
uses the db had no problems until she migrated to a new laptop. Now she
cannot run any of the queries. It does not appear to have any security
enabled - no specific users or groups other than the standard Admin and User.
All objects had shown a db owner of <unknown>. I was able to make all other
objects belong to Admin except for queries. I also attempted to create a new
blank db and import every object into it, but I can't get queries as I can't
read them. They all show up normally under the query group window, but any
attempt to run them results in the error message "Could not read definitions;
no read definitions permission for table or query X." I also attempted to
remove the old system.mdw file and create a new one, which didn't work. The
user indicates she is not aware of any specific workgroup and had not been
required to enter a user id/password before.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

The db was partially secured with a secure workgroup file. The user doesn't
have to give the user name and password if that's already supplied in the
shortcut. Find the shortcut she used on her old pc. It will show you which
workgroup file she used and her user name and password.
