Can't run "Office Update"

I just started to use Outlook 2000, and I wanted to make
sure that I had all the lates updates for it, for security
purposes. For the last couple of weeks, I've been , each
time I try to run the Office Update I the following
message:

"The Office Update site is currently experiencing some
technical difficulties and is unable to check for updates"

I was wondering does anyone knows of a problem going with
the "Office Update"?

I have no problems doing the 'Windows Updates" works fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
