changing servers

I am wanting to purchase publisher for my office. We are preparing to upgrade
to a new server in a few weeks and am worried that I will have to repurchase
publisher when we switch over. Will my publisher program be available post
changeover, or should I wait until after the change to buy the product? I am
sure this isn't a very smart question but nonetheless I would like to know
before I make my purchase.

Im not exactly sure what you are asking, but Publisher is not network
friendly...sure you can install Publisher on your local machine and save
files to the server, but Publisher isn't multi-user

That depends. If you are using volume licensing to purchase Publisher
for every machine in the office, then you may need to buy an additional
license for the new server. If you are buying retail licenses for all
machines including the server, then you will need to uninstall Publisher
from the old server and install it on the new one instead. If you aren't
buying Publisher to use on the server, then you should not be affected
by a replacement of the server.
