Concurrent Tasks in MS Project 2003

I created a template project plan with predecessors - I have many tasks that
can run concurrently but I can't figure out how to get project to recognize
that, if I edit the tasks and remove the dependency it removes my
precdecessor which is not the tasks it runs concurrent with. Any help out
there on how to do this?--

I ran into this today. Here's what we did.
Task 1 is the predecessor to Task2. Task 2 and Task3 can run together. Both
Task2 and 3 must be complete before Task4 can start:

Solution:

Task2 and Task3 both have Task1 as Predecessor and FS. Note the extra
predecessor.
Task2 and Task3 both have Task4 as Successor and FS. This can also be
obtained by making Task4 with two predecessors (2 and 3).

This way, if either task 2 or 3 change, Task4 will start at the latest
finish of 2 and 3. Task2 and 3 will start at the finish of 1.

Rod's solution is also great.
