Conditional fomatting in publisher

Hi all,

I have a catalogue merge in publisher 2003. I need to show an image when a
certain field has a certain value, and nothing if it has another value.

Is this possible and how? I searched MSDN until I started dreaming of it!!
Nothing!! Can anyone help here??

There is no easy way to do this.

I can't think of any way to leverage Publisher's existing Catalog Merge
features to accomplish this. The only real way I can think of is to create
your own custom merge engine in VBA or a COM-compatible language. You would
have to manually connect to a data source, construct the publication
programmatically, adding a number of copies of a set of shapes, and adding
the database data. Then at this stage you could also toggle whether the
object you need is visible or not.
