Converting Publisher to Word

I created a really nice letterhead in Publisher that I want to use as a Word
template. I can't figure out how to convert the file. I even converted the
file to .pdf and couldn't find a way there either. Help please.

In the Publisher file:
Edit|Select All.
Group the selection
Copy to clipboard


In the Word file:
Paste

You may have to do some resizing but it works.
