Copy and Paste does not work

I am trying to copy information from an excel cell into a project cell but
there seems to ba a limit on the amount of info I can input. It also puts the
info in more than one cell when there is a carriage return in the text. Can
I change the settings so that it inputs all the info into the cell? Also is
there a way to put carriage returns or bullets in a project text cell?

Hi David,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Copying can be difficult as the format of the data has to be exact in both
cases. For text, the only satisfactory place is into a Note field. Try
opening Task Information/Notes tab and paste into there, where carriage
returns and bullets are permitted. Other Text cells are very limited like
no more than 255 characters, curtailment at a carriage return, etc. Text
cells are best used for formula actions.
