I have recently upgraded my primary hard drive. Before doing this I wanted to
back up some of my files. I used the backup utility in XP Home but due to the
size of the back up file it was creating cancelled it. I now find that I have
hundreds of files that I cannot open. These include word, excel, pst and
others. I've tried all sorts of ways to read the files without success and
believe they are probably irretrievably corrupted. Has anyone had this
problem and if so is there a solution?
